The Reluctant Ressurection of Sherlock Homes
directed by: Dennis Curley
Character: Rose Westhaven
Actor: Lesley Quinn
WHAT WAS THE FIRST PLAY YOU WERE IN, AND WHAT ROLE?
LESLEY QUINN: My first play was in Grade 5, and was called ‘The Swinging Piper.’ I played a librarian. Who shouted all the time.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ROLE YOU'VE PLAYED?
LQ: I always hate this question. It’s like asking me to choose my favourite kid. But if I must, I’d have to say the role I’m currently playing. She’s so deliciously dramatic, and it’s also one of the most difficult roles I’ve played.
WHAT IS YOUR DREAM ROLE TO PLAY, OR PRODUCTION TO BE IN?
LQ: Mrs. Lovett, Sweeney Todd. Hands down.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF BEING INVOLVED WITH THIS SHOW?
LQ: Getting a chance to work with both a director and actors that I admire.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD?
LQ: Coffee.
IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD PEOPLE BUY TICKETS TO THIS SHOW.
LQ: Because if you don’t, you’ll be missing one of the most creative, funniest, and emotional shows we’ve ever done!
