Auditions: Sunday January 19, 2020, 2pm - 4pm and Monday January 20, 2020, 7pm – 9pm
Where: Waldies Blacksmith Shop, 16 James Street, Milton.

Monologue not required, cold read from the script. There is no need to book an audition time as the director will be pairing actors in various roles to play off of each other (group readings). Characters:
SIENNA GRAY: 40 plus - A divorcee with a dry wit, she owns the town’s general store and is estranged from her only son.
JAMES BELL: 30-45 - An investment banker who has spent the last few years focused on his career, while neglecting everything else in his life.
RHONDA BORKOWSKI: 30-50 - The town flirt and owner of the only motel in Kooshog Lake.
KIRK DOUGLAS: 60ish - Owns the bait and tackle shop, also the town mechanic. The founder of the Hollis McCauley fishing derby. Dispenser of advice.
MELANIE MORNINGSIDE: 25-35 - A young woman who is getting over a broken heart. Fiercely defensive of Kooshog Lake.

Ages of the characters will be determined based on availability of actors

Show Synopsis:
Investment banker James Bell gets stuck in the sleepy town of Kooshog Lake during their annual Fishing Derby. A quirky story complete with romance, broken hearts and a shark attack.

Rehearsals: Wednesday 7:30pm - 10:30pm; Friday 7:30pm - 10:30pm; Sunday 6:00pm - 9:00 pm, at St. Paul’s United Church, 123 Main St. East, Milton.
