Auditions: Sunday July 21, 2024, 2pm-4:30pm and Monday July 22, 2024, 7:30pm–10pm
Callbacks if needed are TBD
Where: Milton Historical Society Waldie Blacksmith Shop, 16 James Street, Milton, L9T 2P4

Monologue not required, cold read from the script. There is no need to book an audition time as the director will be pairing actors in various roles to play off of each other (group readings).

Show Synopsis: When Max, Keith and Stan decided they’d get together to celebrate their 50th birthdays, they thought they might play a little golf, perhaps get the band together again and reminisce about their glory days.
Well, that was the plan, but when Stan brought his new wife along, the weekend in Muskoka didn’t go quite as expected.


Rehearsals: Tuesday 7:30pm – 10:30pm; Thursday 7:30pm – 10:30pm; Sunday 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Show dates: January 31, February 1,2,6,7,8, 2025 at The First Ontario Arts Centre Milton
ALL show dates, production week and mid run pick up rehearsal are mandatory

Character ages and descriptions:
KEITH – A 50-year-old unemployed salesman. A little lost and is unaccustomed to being unemployed. Married to Abigail.
ABIGAIL – A 50-year-old accountant. Can be forthright and stern when she needs to be, but also has a softer side. Is married to Keith.
MAX – A 50-year-old geography teacher. Confident and comfortable. Married to Sally.
SALLY – A 50-year-old science teacher. Has a tendency to micro-manage. Married to Max.
STAN – A 50-year-old dentist. Divorced from his first wife. Married to the much younger Lise.
LISE – A 27-year-old dental hygienist. From Quebec and speaks with a French-Canadian accent. Attractive and quite confident despite her youth.


Note: For the role of Lise please come prepared to audition with a French-Canadian accent.
